Providing temperature-controlled environments for food and other
perishables are essential in today's global market. Through our Climate
Control Technologies sector and Thermo King and Hussmann brands, we
provide global solutions for the transportation and retail refrigeration
market.
We are currently seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst at
our Minneapolis, MN location.
This position encompasses the following:
Participation in the design, development, and implementation of Climate
Control Technologies implementation of the Oracle Business Intelligence
Suite - Enterprise Edition. As. Business Intelligence Analyst, you will
be responsible for championing the interests and objectives of the
business owners.
- Provide guidance and vision within the Business Intelligence, Data
Warehousing, and Reporting environments by designing solutions to meet
business requirements.
- Work closely with business process owners to identify requirements,
perform analysis, design, develop, test, and deliver value-added
solutions and process improvements.
- Serve as the primary communication point between the business
process owners and the Oracle Implementation Team.
- Analyze information gathered from key stakeholders to identify
business user needs and to proatively provide analytical guidance to
identify additional requirements.
- Provide functional guidance on reporting from the Oracle ERP Suite.
- Responsible for working with the business to develop high-level
reporting requirements.
- Produce reporting prototypes for review and approval by the
business owner.
- Participate in technical design documentation review sessions to
ensure the accurate development of reporting solutions.
- Coordinate the completion of user acceptance testing for new
analytic solutions to ensure output is consistent with defined customer
requirements.
Qualifications:
- Three to ten years of experience in the IT industry,
specifically working within a BI environment
- Knowledge of one of the following is required: Oracle Financial
Analytics, Oracle Procurement & Spend Analytics, and Oracle Supply
Chain & Order Management Analytics.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to operate in a
team environment are essential, as are outstanding documentation,
presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of data warehousing and DBMS techniques is helpful.
- Experience with OLAP. Knowledge of Hyperion Essbase is
beneficial.
- Familiarity with Informatica.
- Experience with one of the following Oracle ERP areas is
preferred: financials, order management, shipping, supply chain
management, or manufacturing applications.
- Experience with Business Intelligence concepts and solutions.
- Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition
(OBIEE - formerly Siebel Analytics) is essential.
- Facilitation/Requirements gathering skills & Business
Process Redesign experience.
